Everything you need to know about billing, renewals, and plan changes

Renewal Rules & Timing

30-Day Renewal Window: Renewals are only allowed within 30 days of your current period end date. This prevents early renewals and ensures proper billing cycles.

Example: If your current plan ends on December 31, 2025, you can only renew starting December 1, 2025.

Midnight Rule: New plans always become effective at midnight (12:00 AM) on the day after your current period ends.

Example: If your current plan ends on December 31, 2025 at 11:59:59 PM, your new plan starts on January 1, 2026 at 12:00 AM.

Plan Changes & Upgrades

Immediate Upgrades: When you upgrade from a monthly plan to a higher tier plan, the new plan takes effect immediately at midnight the next day.

Upgrade Scenarios:
• Monthly Starter → Monthly Pro: Pro starts tomorrow at midnight
• Monthly Starter → Yearly Pro: Yearly Pro starts tomorrow at midnight
• Monthly Pro → Yearly Enterprise: Yearly Enterprise starts tomorrow at midnight

Note: This immediate upgrade only applies to monthly plans. Yearly plans follow standard renewal timing.

Yes, with immediate effect for monthly plans: You can change from monthly to yearly billing for the same plan tier, and it will take effect immediately for monthly subscriptions.

Example: If you're on a Monthly Starter plan and switch to Yearly Starter, your Yearly Starter plan will start tomorrow at midnight, giving you immediate access to yearly pricing and benefits.

Benefit: You get the yearly discount and longer billing cycle immediately, rather than waiting for your current monthly period to end.

Standard Renewal Timing: Yearly plans follow the standard renewal rules. Plan changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Example: If you're on a Yearly Pro plan ending December 31 and upgrade to Enterprise on December 15, you'll continue using Pro until December 31, then Enterprise starts January 1.

Billing & Pricing

No Proration Policy: We do not offer proration or refunds for unused time when renewing early. You pay for your full current period regardless of when you renew.

Example: If you renew 2 months early, you still pay for those 2 months of your current plan before the new plan begins.

Yearly Billing Benefits:

  • Cost Savings: Typically 17% discount compared to monthly billing
  • Convenience: Fewer billing cycles to manage
  • Stability: Locked-in pricing for the full year
  • Immediate Access: For monthly plans, yearly billing takes effect immediately
Note: Yearly plans still follow the 30-day renewal window rule.
